Richard Jack, Worship Creative Team Leader

richard jackThe Worship Creative Team is made up of the people who look after the (we hope) creative elements of our Sunday worship – the music, the sound system, the audio-visual kit. The team is led by Richard Jack, who’s been around St John’s since the place was strewn with pews, and doing a hymn on the piano was considered progressive… Richard is married to Gingy, with two children and when not leading music or nurturing the sound desk at church he’s a freelance TV Director.

Chris Matthews, Executive Secretary chrismatthews

I have been a member at St John's for the last six years. I started my career with BP but spent the last 12 years of working life as the CE of two London Charities. One provided help and activities for older people, including many disabled clients, and the other helped with the education of needy children and young people. I am now retired and act as the Vicar's Executive Secretary helping with a range of administrative tasks for the parish and currently I am working with others on producing a strategic ministry plan for St John's. I Chair St John's Missions Support Team which is responsible for promoting and encouraging support for our Mission Partners among the congregation. I also am Chairman of DAI UK, a charity that specialises in Christian Leadership training in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. I am married to Linda and we have a son and a daughter and three wonderful grandchildren.
