 What's On

Child Protection Policy

At St John's Church we take the responsibility of looking after young people very seriously. We seek to protect the young people under our care and those leaders who look after them.

Young People: Within St John's all young people attending groups must have their parents or guardians complete relevant Consent Forms so leaders can get in contact in case of an emergency.

Leaders: All regular leaders and helpers of groups must have submitted both Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Forms and Internal Child Protection Forms before they are allowed to work with our young people.

At St John's Church we ask all Parents & Guardians (of children under 18) to complete and return a Registration & Consent Form to the Church Office.

We do this so that we can get your permission for the child under your care to undertake activities organised by the Church and also so we can contact you in event of an accident or emergency.

Please click here to download a copy of the Consent Form.

All regular Leaders and Helpers of groups should complete and submit each of the forms below together with a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Form. To download a document please click the relevant link to the right.

If you work with young people in the Church you should also be fully aware of both the St John's Church and the Diocesan Child Protection Policy documents.

As a group leader, helper or a parent or guardian you may wish to read our Child Protection Policies. Please select the document you wish to download to the right.
