Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Wednesday 29th April 2015
All members of the church fellowship are encouraged to attend the APCM, which is a key event in the life of our church, and much more than just a business meeting. It provides an opportunity for us, collectively and individually, to:
- reflect on our ministry as a church over the past year, the changes we have seen, and the ways we have witnessed God at work;
- look ahead to the challenges and opportunities in front of us, and how we can each be a part of the onward journey;
- equip ourselves through the election of churchwardens, officers, parochial church council (PCC) members and Deanery Synod representatives;
- be inspired and encouraged!
This year’s APCM will also feature an update on the Building for the Future project, giving you the chance to look back on our journey so far, look ahead to the next phase of the project, and reflect on what we need to do as a church to see the project through to completion.
All members of St John’s are welcome to attend the APCM, but you must be on the electoral roll to stand for election to PCC and to vote to elect the PCC.
As last year, paper copies of papers for the meeting will be in limited supply on the evening, and are intended mainly for those without internet access.
You are encouraged instead to LOGIN then download the papers using the following links, and either print them off and bring them with you, or view them on your laptop or tablet.
