Prayer Diary for Week Beginning Monday 9 April

Give thanks that we were able to support Ian and Simea Meldrum and ‘My Father’s House’ with our Lent project. Ask that the funds raised will be used appropriately where required to support those in need in Brazil.

A copy of Artic News is available at the back of St John’s sharing Gods work amongst the Inuit people. Each day a different church in the diocese is prayed for. Ask for Gods blessings on St Luke’s church in Pangnirtung, Nunavut today thanking him that languages and terrain are no barriers to spreading the gospel.

We were able to hear before Easter about the amazing work that goes on in Iringa, Tanzania with Neema crafts and the changing attitudes toward disability in the area and nationally. Ask God to show Ben and Katy a way forward with the project as they look to find new leaders to help run the project.

The Shed is a project enabling people to work on small repair jobs or learn new skills in a safe and welcoming environment enjoying fellowship and friendship with others. Please pray for the continuing success and growth of this outreach into Egham as the group meets today.

CPAS runs Venture and Falcon Camps as Christian residential holidays for children and young people where fun activities are mixed with exploring the bible and discovering more about Jesus. We as a church have supported these holidays for many years; ask for God’s blessing on CPAS as they plan ahead for 2018.

Thank you heavenly Father that a new vicar has been found to lead St John’s later on this year. May we as a church look forward to welcoming them to Egham and continue to ask for Gods guidance as we work within the community of Egham.

From our Bell ringers at the start of our services to our coffee teams at the end we are blessed with support in running St John’s. Give thanks for this and ask that more of our church family may come forward to help run those groups where extra assistance is needed.
